Aubrey Plaza terms life after her Husband ‘A daily struggle, obviously’.

Actor Aubrey Plaza talks about early and sudden demise of her husband Jeff Baena, referring to her grief as ‘a giant ocean of awfulness’. Jeff Baena was a distinguished film director.

This is the first time that Baena’s beloved wife actor Aubrey Plaza discussed her condition after the suicide of her husband, director Jeff Baena. He had committed suicide notably in January this year.

Aubrey plaza was talking to Amy Poehler for her podcast Good Hang when she was asked how she was doing during “a terrible, terrible, tragic year”.

Plaza said. “Overall, I’m here and I’m functioning.” This reflects the state of grief and anxiety of plaza after losing someone so dear to her.

Baena was a celebrated director especially for his comic films such as Life After Beth and The Little Hours. He committed suicide at the age of 47 at his Los Angeles home. His family had termed the incident “an unimaginable tragedy” in a statement following his demise.

Notably, Director Baena made movies enjoyably twisted, he even was the co-writer of Heart Huckabees along side David O Russell. Before his demise, Baena’s last film was the dark comedy Spin Me Around, Starring Plaza and Alison Brie.

Plaza has various upcoming projects in her bag such as Ethan Coen’s comedy Honey Don’t.
